Woodsedge Children's Center

Woodsedge Children's Center is a not-for-profit early childhood program serving children ages 2 months through 5 years, including those with ADD/ADHD support needs. Founded in 1989, the center is staffed by 13 qualified educators—28% with advanced degrees—who stay current on early childhood development research and individualized learning approaches. With an average class size of 13 children, the program allows staff to become familiar with each child's unique learning style and developmental needs.

The center's curriculum balances structured teaching time with child-initiated activities and free exploration, supporting social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Located on over 5 acres in a residential Sudbury neighborhood, children benefit from extensive outdoor playground space and exploration opportunities. The facility includes six classrooms and a gym, accommodating both full-time and part-time schedules. The program's membership in associations for exceptional children reflects its commitment to serving children with diverse developmental needs.
