I have a friend who has given up her Twitter account and doesn’t follow anyone or anything except cute cat videos and photos. She is enamored by the fluffy felines.
Even though I am a dog person, I have to admit that cats are adorable and fun to watch. They wink, jump, play, spring up, and manage to get themselves into the tightest places. Beginning Saturday, May 4, 2013, Animal Planet’s America’s Cutest Cats returns with a fun cast of characters, and I do mean characters!
These little kitties are adorable and filled with personality. For the contest, there are seven categories, or “cat-egories,” counting down the top five cats in each. Then at the end, one cat is honored as “America’s Cutest Cat.”
Which one will it be? Will it be the adorable little guy who sits in a teacup (my personal favorite), or the cat lying on the stove talking to his owner? Or, maybe it will be the furry fellow who meanders through the holes in a pool table. Okay, I confess that I have seen the show so I know who is crowned the cutest, but I won’t spoil it for you. You’ll have to watch to find out for yourself.
There is no shortage of cat videos on the Internet. They are fun to watch and in these days of constant stressors and bad news every night on the nightly news shows, the little cats manage to make us smile, laugh, and feel good.
