Adene Karhan

Adene Karhan, LCSW, provides compassionate, individualized therapy for children, teens, women, and families navigating neurodivergence and special needs. She specializes in supporting those managing ADHD/ASD, developmental disorders, intellectual disabilities, and education or learning challenges. Her approach is designed to help families navigate the complexities of disability, adoption, and school-related stressors with a warm and collaborative spirit.

For younger clients (ages 13 and under), Adene utilizes an attachment-informed approach that incorporates play therapy, sand tray work, and expressive therapies. She also provides essential parent consultation to help caregivers support their child's growth and emotional regulation. Her practice is highly specialized in addressing neurodivergent needs, peer relationship struggles, and the unique transitions that come with disability and neurodiversity.

Services are available via telehealth or in-person (in-person sessions for ages 13 and under are available in PA). Adene is currently accepting new clients and offers a free 15-minute consultation to ensure a good fit. She accepts various insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, and Highmark, and provides multiple payment options such as HSA, Venmo, and major credit cards.
