Alex Butler

Alex Butler, LCSW, provides a compassionate and nonjudgmental therapeutic space for preteens, teens, adults, and elders. Specializing in complex neurodivergent and behavioral needs, Alex offers support for individuals, families, and groups navigating challenges such as ADHD-related behavioral issues, ODD, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and emotional disturbances. With extensive experience in hospital, residential, and private practice settings, Alex utilizes evidence-based techniques to help clients build resilience and develop practical coping skills.

The practice offers both in-person and telehealth services, making it accessible for families needing flexible care. Alex is highly skilled in managing specialized needs including OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Dissociative Disorders, and testing and evaluation. As an inclusive provider, Alex is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and supports racial justice, ensuring a safe environment for all identities.

Alex is currently accepting new clients and offers sessions for $150. Multilingual support is available in Hebrew, Russian, and Spanish. A wide range of insurance plans are accepted, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Highmark, and UnitedHealthcare.
