Amanda Lanning

Amanda Lanning is the Executive Director of Heartland Rural Counseling Services (HRCS), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering self-determination and healthy lifestyle choices. With over 15 years of experience as a therapist, Amanda provides specialized therapeutic interventions designed to help clients navigate complex neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges.

The practice specializes in supporting children, preteens, teens, and adults facing various needs, including Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance (ODD), and emotional regulation difficulties. HRCS offers a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group treatment, as well as marital therapy. Their expertise extends to managing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, providing a supportive environment for both the individual and the family unit.

Services are available through both in-person visits in Colby, KS, and via telehealth/online therapy options. HRCS is currently accepting new clients and accepts a wide variety of insurance plans, including Medicaid, KanCare, and major providers like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare.
