Denise Heifer

Denise Heifer, LCSW, provides a supportive and confidential therapeutic space for individuals, couples, and families navigating complex life challenges. Specializing in neurodivergence, she offers targeted support for ADHD, Autism, and Oppositional Defiance (ODD), as well as managing behavioral issues, chronic impulsivity, and school-related difficulties. Her approach focuses on developing effective coping mechanisms and fostering resilience through a whole-person, mind/body perspective.

Her practice serves a wide range of age groups, including toddlers, children, preteens, teens, and adults. Beyond neurodevelopmental needs, she is experienced in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and emotional disturbances. Whether addressing family conflict, parenting support, or peer relationship struggles, the goal is to help clients utilize their inherent wisdom to create meaning and health after experiencing significant life transitions or hardships.

Services are available through both in-person visits in Shillington, PA, and via telehealth/online therapy. Denise Heifer is currently accepting new clients and accepts a variety of insurance plans, including BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and CHIP. Payment options include major credit cards, HSA, and check.
