Jermiah Jones

Jermiah Jones, LCSW, DSW-C, operates Urban Black Therapy, a fully virtual practice providing a safe, affirming, and identity-affirming space for teens, adults, and elders. He specializes in supporting individuals navigating neurodivergent challenges, including ADHD and OCD, as well as trauma, PTSD, and emotional disturbances. His practice is deeply committed to racial justice and provides an inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and various allied communities.

Using a client-centered approach, Jermiah integrates tools from CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-focused modalities to help clients build essential coping skills, self-awareness, and resilience. His expertise extends to managing complex issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and school-related challenges, helping clients navigate life transitions and interpersonal relationships with greater clarity.

The practice offers telehealth services for individuals, with Medicaid and several major insurance plans accepted for individual therapy.
