Kim DuBose

Kim DuBose (she/they) is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Philadelphia, PA, specializing in trauma-informed care for adults. With an MSW from Smith College's School for Social Work, Kim provides a compassionate space for individuals navigating complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and life transitions. Their practice is deeply rooted in self-compassion, helping clients explore their internal experiences with curiosity rather than judgment.

Kim utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach specifically suited for processing deep-seated wounds and neurodivergent or trauma-related needs. This includes Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Eye Movement Desemtization and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic therapy, and somatic interventions. Kim also facilitates group therapy, providing a supportive environment for members to connect and grow together.

Kim is highly committed to inclusive, identity-affirming care, serving as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, racial justice advocates, and individuals with various physical disabilities (including Blind and Deaf allied). Services are available via online telehealth. Kim is currently accepting new clients, with individual sessions priced at $150. A wide range of insurance plans are accepted, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare.
