Lydia Debiase

Dr. Lydia Debiase, LCSW, PhD, provides a compassionate and safe therapeutic space for children, teens, and adults navigating complex life challenges. Specializing in trauma-informed care, she works extensively with children who have experienced difficult circumstances, helping them process experiences such as abuse, neglect, or emotional disturbance. Her practice is rooted in cultural humility, ensuring that each individual's unique identity-including ethnicity, spirituality, and sexual identity-is honored and respected.

Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of specialized needs, including ADHD-related behavioral issues, Oppositional Defiance (ODD), anxiety, depression, PTSD, and neurodivergent-related struggles like OCD or dissociative disorders. For families navigating legal complexities, Dr. Debiase is an experienced expert witness in child abuse and neglect cases within the Virginia and Pennsylvania court systems, and she is available to prepare professional evaluations and assessments for both children and adults.

Dr. Debiase offers both in-person and telehealth services, making support accessible from anywhere. She works with individuals, couples, and families to address issues ranging from parenting support and school difficulties to substance use and life transitions.
