Sophie Thompson

Sophie Thompson, LMSW, provides specialized counseling for adolescents, emerging adults, and adults, with a particular focus on neurodivergent needs. She offers supportive therapy for individuals navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and related challenges such as emotional regulation, school issues, and peer relationships. Her practice is a compassionate space for identity exploration, including specialized support as a Queer and Transgender Allied provider.

Using a warm, relational, and collaborative approach, Sophie integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, and DBT. Her sessions are tailored to each individual's unique pace and goals, focusing on building practical coping skills, deepening self-understanding, and managing anxiety, depression, OCD, and life transitions. Whether working through body image concerns or navigating complex life changes, the focus remains on cultivating self-compassion and authenticity.

Services are available through both in-person visits in Glastonbury, CT, and via telehealth/online therapy. Sophie is currently accepting new clients for individual and group sessions. She accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, HUSKY Health, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, and UnitedHealthcare, among others. Individual session fees are $150.
