Dara Zafran

Dr. Dara Zafran is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience providing specialized support across the lifespan. She offers targeted therapeutic interventions for families navigating neurodiversity and developmental challenges, including expertise in Autism, developmental disorders, and educational and learning disabilities. Her practice is particularly helpful for parents managing behavioral issues, attachment struggles in foster or adoptive children, and the complexities of infant mental health.

Dr. Zafran provides a compassionate environment for individuals and families dealing with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and chronic illness. Her clinical focus extends to supporting caregivers, managing family conflict, and helping children (from birth to age 12) and adolescents navigate school issues and self-esteem. She also specializes in prenatal and postpartum support, assisting mothers through the transitions of pregnancy and early parenthood.

Services are available through both in-person visits in Albuquerque and via telehealth/online therapy.
