John Carosso

Dr. John Carosso is a highly experienced Child and School Psychologist specializing in psychological diagnostic evaluations for neurodivergent children and adolescents. With over 30 years of experience and more than 50,000 evaluations conducted, he provides critical assessments for Autism, ADHD, developmental disorders, and intellectual disabilities. His expertise also extends to identifying educational issues and learning disabilities to help families navigate school-based supports.

Beyond diagnostics, Dr. Carosso offers comprehensive follow-up care through a licensed outpatient clinic and the IBHS program. He provides specialized support for a wide range of challenges, including trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, ODD, and behavioral issues. His clinical approach is backed by a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), making him well-equipped to assist families managing complex neurodivergent profiles and emotional disturbances.

Serving toddlers, children, preteens, and teens, Dr. Carosso offers both in-person visits at his Monroeville, North Hills, and Greensburg, PA locations, as well as telehealth options. He is currently accepting new clients and accepts a wide variety of insurance plans, including Medicaid, CHIP, and major providers like Highmark, UPMC, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
