Julia Barta

Dr. Julia Barta provides specialized, brain-based evaluations and therapy for children, teens, and adults navigating autism, neurodivergence, and trauma. Her practice focuses on helping families understand how neurodivergent individuals think, learn, and connect, with a specific emphasis on identifying strengths and implementing supports that truly work. As a former School Psychologist of the Year, Dr. Barta brings deep clinical insight to addressing complex developmental and learning needs.

Dr. Barta is certified in the administration of the ADOS-2, the gold standard for autism assessment, and offers comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations. Her expertise includes diagnosing dyslexia and other developmental conditions, as well as providing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and brain-based interventions. She specializes in a wide range of needs, including ADHD, anxiety, intellectual disabilities, and traumatic brain injury (TBI), as well as managing school-related issues and peer relationships.

Offering both in-person and telehealth services in Olympia, WA, Dr. Barta supports individuals from toddlerhood through adulthood. She provides a compassionate environment for parents seeking diagnoses, second opinions, or help with behavioral concerns. Dr. Barta is currently accepting new clients with a short waitlist of approximately three weeks. Individual sessions are $225, and she accepts various payment methods including HSA and major credit cards.
