Patrick O'Connor

Patrick O'Connor, PsyD, is a child psychologist in Yarmouth, ME, specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents (ages 4-18). With over a decade of experience, he provides a nonjudgmental and creative therapeutic approach specifically designed for children who may be skeptical of therapy or have not found success with previous interventions. He focuses on building a strong partnership with each child to foster personal investment in the therapeutic process.

His practice offers extensive expertise in managing complex needs, including ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ODD. Dr. O'Connor utilizes a variety of evidence-based modalities, including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral theories, as well as play therapy. Dr. O'Connor provides both in-person and telehealth services, making support accessible for families. Individual sessions are $220, and he accepts various payment methods including cash, check, and major credit cards.
