Peggy Nadenichek

Peggy Nadenichek, M.Ed., provides compassionate counseling services tailored to the unique developmental stages of toddlers, children, preteens, teens, adults, and elders. She specializes in supporting neurodivergent individuals and families navigating diagnoses such as Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and ADHD. Her practice focuses on helping clients manage complex challenges including behavioral issues, Oppositional Defiance (ODD), anxiety, and emotional disturbances.

Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Peggy works with individuals, couples, and families to address irrational thinking patterns and develop effective coping skills. Her expertise extends to managing trauma, PTSD, self-harm, and social challenges like peer relationships and school issues. She is also highly experienced in supporting parents through the complexities of parenting and navigating life transitions such as grief, divorce, and stress management.

Services are available through both in-person visits in State College, PA, and via telehealth/online therapy. Peggy is currently accepting new clients and accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicaid, CHIP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UPMC. Individual sessions are priced at $125, and she welcomes inquiries via email for those ready to take the first step toward support.
