Abigail McDowell, LPC, is a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in supporting individuals, couples, and families through complex life transitions. With an advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, she provides a compassionate environment for those navigating neurodivergent-related challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. Her approach focuses on helping clients identify internal resources and develop practical life skills to manage emotional disturbances and improve daily functioning.

For families managing special needs, Abigail offers targeted support for parenting, school issues, and peer relationships. She works with clients to address specific stressors such as family conflict, coping skills, and self-esteem, helping parents and children find new pathways to stability and growth. Her practice is designed to be a warm, supportive space for addressing everything from grief and depression to the complexities of neurodiverse family dynamics.

Services are available through both in-person visits in Newtown, PA, and via telehealth/online therapy sessions. Abigail is currently accepting new clients and accepts various payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, and Zelle. She also works with insurance providers such as Aetna, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare (UHC/UBH). Individual session fees are $175.
