Amber Parker

Amber Parker is a trauma-informed therapist providing specialized support for teens and adults navigating the complexities of PTSD, trauma, and grief. She understands how difficult experiences can manifest as anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or feeling shut down, and she focuses on creating a safe, manageable pace for healing. Her practice is deeply inclusive, offering an allied space for LGBTQ+, non-binary, and racial justice-focused care.

Utilizing evidence-based modalities, Amber integrates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help the brain reprocess distressing memories without requiring the client to relive every detail. She also incorporates CBT and DBT skills to assist clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation. Her approach is person-centered, helping individuals develop practical coping skills for life transitions, school issues, and relationship challenges.

Amber provides services via telehealth to clients across Tennessee, allowing individuals to engage in therapy from the safety of their own environment. She is currently accepting new clients and accepts various insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare. Individual sessions are available for $130, with various payment options including HSA and major credit cards.
