Arevik Nersesyan

Arevik Nersesyan is a clinician specializing in therapeutic support for children, preteens, and teens facing complex challenges. She provides targeted care for children experiencing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Using evidence-based modalities such as play therapy and art therapy, she helps young clients express difficult emotions, process traumatic experiences, and develop essential self-regulation and coping skills.

Recognizing that a child's success is deeply connected to their home environment, Arevik also specializes in working with parents and caregivers. She provides practical strategies, tools, and compassionate support to help families navigate parenting challenges, improve communication, and build more nurturing, stable environments. Her approach utilizes systemic family therapy, CBT, and DBT to help families heal and reconnect.

As a multilingual provider fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian, Arevik offers culturally responsive and trauma-informed care to individuals, couples, and families. She is currently accepting new clients for both in-person and telehealth sessions in Sherman Oaks, CA. She accepts Aetna and Cigna/Evernorth, and individual sessions are $175.
