Aubrey Sapp

Aubrey Sapp is a Licensed Family Therapist (LMFT) and former school counselor serving children, preteens, and adolescents in the Brentwood and Nolensville areas. Specializing in the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent and neurotypical youth, she provides support for a wide range of needs including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and emotional regulation. Her background in school counseling allows her to deeply understand the complexities of school issues, learning disabilities, and the social dynamics of friendship and family.

Recognizing that many children and teens struggle to verbalize their emotions, Aubrey utilizes creative, developmentally appropriate modalities such as play, art, and mindfulness-based approaches. These tools help clients build a "coping skills toolbox," improve communication, and strengthen self-esteem. Her practice, Nolo Counseling, focuses on building trust to help young people navigate life transitions, grief, and behavioral challenges in a manageable way.

Aubrey offers both in-person and telehealth sessions, making therapy accessible for busy families. She is currently accepting new clients and provides a free 15-minute consultation to ensure her approach is the right fit for your child's specific needs.
