Cory Powers, MSW, provides trauma-informed counseling for adolescents (16+), adults, and couples in Palmer, AK. Specializing in neurodivergence, Cory offers a collaborative and grounded approach to help clients navigate ADHD, Autism, and the complexities of neurodivergent life. Using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cory focuses on building emotional regulation, coping skills, and self-understanding.

With personal experience parenting neurodivergent children, Cory is deeply passionate about supporting parents navigating the unique challenges of raising children with special needs. By providing a non-judgmental space where parents can feel heard and supported, Cory aims to reduce parental stress and foster more successful outcomes for the entire family. This specialized focus helps families manage the specific stressors associated with neurodiverse development and caregiving.

In addition to neurodiversity support, Cory brings a unique perspective as a U.S. Air Force veteran, offering specialized understanding of how military life and civilian transitions impact mental health. Services are available through both in-person and telehealth appointments. Cory is currently accepting new clients, with individual sessions priced at $125 and Aetna insurance accepted.
