Jewelia Ferguson

Jewelia Ferguson is a doctoral student clinician pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families navigating medical complexities, including chronic illnesses and physical disabilities. Recognizing the impact of health challenges on the entire household, she also provides therapeutic support to parents and families coping with the stressors of caregiving.

Utilizing evidence-based treatments, she addresses mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorder, trauma, and PTSD. Her expertise includes emotional regulation, coping skills, and the psychological impact of discrimination and racial identity. Her clinical approach is informed by her doctoral research on the intersection of mental health, discrimination, and coping with chronic medical conditions in youth.

Jewelia offers in-person and telehealth services for individuals, couples, and families. She is an inclusive provider offering allied support for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and disability communities. She is currently accepting new clients and accepts various insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare, as well as HSA payments.
