Marisa Lawrence

Marisa Lawrence is a licensed professional counselor and board-certified art therapist who brings deep personal empathy to her practice. As a parent of a child with special needs, she possesses a firsthand understanding of the vital importance of strong support systems when navigating neurodivergence and developmental challenges. Her approach focuses on helping individuals and families discover their inherent strengths and potential for growth during both life's joys and its adversities.

Specializing in a wide range of needs, Marisa provides therapeutic support for autism, ADHD, neurodivergence, developmental disorders, ODD, and behavioral issues. She utilizes diverse modalities including art therapy, play therapy, and traditional talk therapy to engage children (ages 6-10), preteens, teens, and adults. Her clinical expertise also extends to managing anxiety, trauma/PTSD, coping skills, and family conflict through both in-person and telehealth sessions.

Marisa is currently accepting new clients for individuals, families, and groups. She accepts various insurance plans including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, and offers flexible payment options such as major credit cards and checks. Individual sessions are available at a rate of $95.
