Martha Thompson

Martha Thompson is a highly credentialed clinician (PsyD, LPC, CAADC) with extensive experience in mental health and addiction treatment. As part of the Empower the Mind team, she provides trauma-informed care specifically tailored to meet the complex needs of children, preteens, teens, and adults. Her practice focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships to help individuals and families navigate modern stressors through evidence-based interventions.

Specializing in neurodivergence and various learning and behavioral challenges, Martha utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Existential Psychology. Her expertise covers a wide spectrum of needs, such as ADHD, Autism-related school issues, ODD, anxiety, depression, and managing emotional disturbances or dual diagnoses.

Services are available through both in-person visits in Pottsville, PA, and via telehealth/online therapy to ensure accessibility. Martha is currently accepting new clients for individuals, families, and groups.
