Sara Ann Jakub

Sara Ann Jakub, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), provides specialized mental health therapy for toddlers, children, adolescents, and their families in Groton, CT. Using a trauma-informed lens, she works collaboratively with families to address complex challenges such as Autism, ADHD, developmental disorders, and learning disabilities. Her approach is deeply rooted in understanding each individual's unique perspective and supporting the entire family system through life transitions and emotional regulation.

With extensive advanced training, Sara utilizes evidence-based modalities specifically effective for special needs and trauma recovery, including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT).
