Sharon Jones

Sharon Jones (LAPC) specializes in providing therapeutic support for children ages 2-12 and the families who care for them. She focuses on addressing both developmental and non-developmental behavioral challenges, specifically helping families navigate diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, OCD, anxiety, depression, and grief. Her practice is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves.

Utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, Sharon works to establish strong therapeutic bonds with her young clients. She is currently working towards her Registered Play Therapy certification, recognizing that play is often the most effective form of communication for children and those processing trauma. Her approach empowers children to tap into their strengths while helping families develop essential coping skills and manage life transitions or school-related issues.

Services are available through both in-person visits in State College, PA, and via telehealth/online sessions. Sharon offers individual and family therapy, with session fees at $130. She accepts BlueCross and BlueShield insurance.
