Sylvia Zhang

Sylvia Zhang, MHC-I, is a bilingual therapist providing compassionate, integrative care for teens, adults, and elders. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating neurodivergent challenges such as ADHD, as well as anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and emotional disturbances. Her practice is deeply rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can develop practical coping skills and emotional resilience.

With an integrative approach that includes CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness, Sylvia offers specialized support for complex issues including school issues, family conflict, and life transitions. She is a dedicated ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and provides culturally sensitive care for Asian women, helping clients navigate societal expectations and racial identity through a unique cultural lens.

Sylvia offers virtual telehealth services to clients located in New York and New Jersey and is currently accepting new clients. She is Mandarin-speaking and provides services at a rate of $50 per individual session, with reduced rates available for those in need. She accepts several insurance plans, including Aetna, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare, and offers various payment options including HSA.
