Achievement Academy of Bartow

Achievement Academy of Bartow is a non-profit charter school serving children with developmental delays and disabilities for over 68 years. As a United Way agency, it provides early intervention, specialized education, therapy, and family support to maximize potential. The Academy offers two core programs: the Birth to Three early intervention program and the ESE Charter PreK. The Birth to Three Program delivers in-home services to infants and toddlers up to age three in natural environments. The ESE Charter PreK serves children from 18 months to five years across three campus locations, featuring certified teachers, small class sizes, and individualized therapies including speech, occupational, and physical treatment.

What distinguishes Achievement Academy is its commitment to individualized education within a nurturing environment. By maintaining small class sizes, the school ensures personalized attention for every student, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning. Although it does not receive a state grade due to its unique student population, the Academy consistently meets its classroom and therapy goals as reported to Florida's Department of Education.
