Alpine Academy

Alpine Academy is a residential school for teenagers ages 12 to 18, serving grades 7 through 12 across two campuses in Tooele County, UT. The school provides a supportive, homestyle living environment where students reside on-site. The academic program is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission in partnership with Cognia, with coursework aligned to Common Core and Utah State standards.

Specializing in diverse needs, the school features a full-time special education teacher managing services under IDEA Part B. Every core teacher holds endorsements in their subject area and K-12 special education at the mild-to-moderate level. Alpine Academy implements all IEP accommodations, working with home districts to meet all case management requirements. For privately placed students, a special education director can develop an Individualized Learning Plan to document goals and accommodations.

Services include academic counseling, credit recovery, graduation monitoring, and college/career planning. These plans can support accommodations for standardized tests like the ACT and SAT. Speech, language, and occupational therapy may be arranged through outside providers. Enrollment begins via the admissions assessment form.
