Chapel Haven Schleifer Center is a nationally accredited transitional living program and private special education school in New Haven, CT, empowering adults (18+) with cognitive and social disabilities. Founded in 1972, it offers residential programs teaching academics, life skills, and job development, supporting students with learning disorders, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, and ADD/ADHD.

With 10 staff members and an average class size of 30, the nonsectarian campus features a casual dress code and diverse student body. Beyond residential living, the center provides structured day programs, vocational training, recreation, and extracurricular activities including Alpine Skiing, Cross Fit, Best Buddies, and Arts and Music Programs.
