Devereux Mapleton Day and Residential School

Devereux Mapleton is a specialized day and residential school serving students in grades 1–12 with emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, ADHD, and related challenges. Located in Malvern, PA, the school provides a structured, therapeutic environment designed to help students develop academic skills, emotional regulation, and social competence while preparing for successful transition back to their local school communities.

The program emphasizes individualized, strength-based learning with small class sizes (average 10 students) and a high teacher-to-student ratio (1 teacher per 3–4 students). Students receive integrated behavioral, emotional, and social support alongside their academic instruction, all delivered within a safe, nurturing setting. The school supports both day students and residential students, offering comprehensive services that address the whole child.

Devereux Mapleton enrolls approximately 52 students and charges $44,782 annually for the 10-month school program (ESY billed separately). The school operates on a rolling admissions basis with no fixed deadline.
