Huot Career and Technical Center

Huot Career and Technical Center provides specialized career and technical education for high school students in grades 10 through 12 across the Lakes Region. The center is specifically designed to support students with diverse learning needs by integrating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), special needs support, and developmental assistance into its vocational curriculum.

The center offers diverse vocational pathways, including Automotive Technology, Health Science, Culinary Arts, and Digital Media Arts. Students benefit from a nurturing environment with low student-teacher ratios and access to state-of-the-art equipment. The program emphasizes hands-on practical experience, helping students build essential life skills such as self-discipline, responsibility, and teamwork through internships and field experiences.

Serving students from Laconia, Gilford, Belmont, Inter-Lakes, Franklin, Newfound, and Winnisquam Regional High Schools, Huot focuses on strong family partnerships to enhance the educational journey. The center also provides connections to college advancement programs like Running Start, serving as a structured bridge to future careers and post-secondary success.
