Lakeside Neurologic

Lakeside Neurologic provides specialized pediatric rehabilitation and education for children and adolescents aged 4 and up. The program is specifically designed to support students navigating complex neurological challenges, such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), where intensive re-training and re-learning are necessary to facilitate a successful return to family and community school settings.

The learning environment utilizes family-style homes and special education classroom settings to foster essential life skills and social reintegration. Recognizing the unique motivational and social challenges following a neurological injury, the program employs precision teaching and specialized motivation strategies. These interventions help students rebuild relationships, master daily living tasks, and navigate the complexities of reintegrating into their communities.

Serving grades 5-12, the program supports students with special needs across all categories, including dedicated learning difference programs. The school features a highly personalized approach with small class sizes and a faculty with significant advanced expertise. Admissions are handled on a rolling basis, and tuition is included as part of the admission to the rehabilitation facility.
