Laradon (The Laradon School)

The Laradon School provides specialized education and support for students ages 5 to 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For over 75 years, they have served the Colorado community from a secure 10-acre campus in Denver's Globeville neighborhood, welcoming students from 24 different school districts.

The school offers a therapeutic environment led by highly trained, licensed staff equipped to meet individual learning and behavioral needs. Programs are centered around Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), developmental support, and therapeutic services. The school's approach focuses on empowering students to achieve healthy, independent lives through a combination of academic and life-skills training.

Laradon emphasizes a collaborative relationship with families and caregivers to ensure they remain connected to their child's progress. Beyond the school setting, the campus integrates with Laradon's broader ecosystem, including youth centers, adult day programs, employment services, and community living programs, providing a continuum of care for students as they transition into adulthood.
