Miami Learning Experience

Miami Learning Experience is a specialized school dedicated to serving children and young adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities. Spanning from birth through adulthood, the school's mission is to provide high-quality educational programs that enhance development and foster the skills necessary for students to live and work independently within their community.

The school offers a comprehensive range of supports, including specialized learning difference programs and curriculum tailored for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For the youngest learners, the Infant and Toddler Stimulation Program provides a unique, center-based approach starting as early as 3 weeks of age. This program includes a parent training component where caregivers meet weekly with teachers to learn specific stimulation techniques to use with their child at home, ensuring a consistent developmental approach.

Serving grades Kindergarten through 12, the school maintains an intimate learning environment with an average class size of 10 students and 12 classroom teachers. Miami Learning Experience also offers summer school and post-graduate year options to support ongoing growth. The school operates on a rolling admissions basis and is nonsectarian, providing a diverse and inclusive setting for all students.
