Midwest Academy

Midwest Academy is a specialized school serving students in grades 3 through 12 who navigate ADD/ADHD, language-based learning differences, high-functioning autism, and auditory processing challenges. The academy provides a supportive community focused on academic achievement, self-acceptance, and individual accountability within an engaging, small-group setting.

The curriculum is progressive and project-based, allowing students to demonstrate mastery through presentations, experiments, and discussions rather than traditional frequent testing. To address specific learning gaps, the BOOST program offers targeted one-to-one and small-group remediation in math and reading. The school also provides specialized support for executive functioning, ABA therapy, and behavioral interventions to assist with developmental needs.

Midwest Academy utilizes an ability-based grouping model rather than traditional grade levels to better meet each student's unique academic profile. For students transitioning toward adulthood, a postgraduate fifth year is available for those not yet ready for college or the workforce. The school is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States and offers rolling enrollment throughout the year.
