Milestones Behavioral Services

Milestones Behavioral Services, part of the Connecticut Center for Child Development, is a non-profit special education school dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and other pervasive developmental disorders. Recognizing that every child on the spectrum has unique abilities and impairments ranging from mild to severe, the school focuses on providing personalized support to help students lead lives of dignity and purpose.

Serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, the school provides a specialized, nonsectarian environment tailored to the specific needs of the neurodiverse community. With a small student body of approximately 51 students and 10 classroom teachers, the program is designed to offer the high level of individual attention and structured support necessary for students with developmental disorders to thrive.

The school is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, reflecting a commitment to quality early childhood and developmental care. Admissions are handled on a rolling basis, allowing families to seek placement as their needs arise.
