Newbridge School

NewBridge School is a specialized K-8 school designed specifically for students with language-based learning disabilities, including those with ADD/ADHD. The school serves students with average to above-average intelligence who require alternative instructional methods to succeed. By focusing on strategy-based instruction, the curriculum teaches students "how to learn" rather than just covering academic material, helping them develop essential executive functioning and study skills.

The learning environment is intentionally small, featuring an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio that allows for highly personalized instruction. To maximize student progress, NewBridge integrates Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy directly into the classroom setting. Additionally, a 1:1 iPad program is utilized to enhance engagement and provide assistive technology tools that bring content to life for students with different learning needs.

With 96% of faculty holding advanced degrees, the school provides a high level of academic expertise within a supportive, analytical framework. The school offers a nonsectarian, casual dress environment and includes weekly art programs. Admissions are handled on a rolling basis, and the school also offers summer programming for continued engagement.
