Northwest School of Innovative Learning (NWSOIL) is a state-approved non-public special education school serving students K-12 (up to age 21) who need individualized support beyond what traditional public schools can provide. Located in Tacoma, NWSOIL specializes in students with special education needs, mental health challenges, and psychiatric conditions, offering a small, therapeutic learning environment with a student-to-teacher ratio that enables personalized attention.

The school provides a full academic curriculum integrated with therapeutic treatment tailored to each student's needs. NWSOIL operates year-round, including an Extended School Year (ESY) program and summer sessions, ensuring students receive continuous educational and mental health support throughout the year.
