Riverside Education Centers

Riverside Education Centers (REC) provides specialized academic and social-emotional support for students in grades K-12. The center is specifically designed to serve a wide range of learners, including those with language-based learning disabilities and twice-exceptional (2e) students. By focusing on a nurturing environment, REC helps students navigate their unique learning profiles through targeted assistance and skill-building.

The center offers structured after-school tutoring four days a week, focusing on essential skills in reading, writing, and math during 14-week fall and spring sessions. Beyond academics, REC provides STEAM-based enrichment programs and a four-week Summer Program that integrates skill work with experiential learning, such as swimming, hiking, and service-learning. These programs are designed to foster development through low student-teacher ratios, ensuring each child receives the personalized attention necessary to reach their potential.

Recognizing the importance of a holistic support system, REC fosters community through family events and parent training sessions to encourage active participation in a student's growth. While specific tuition is available upon request, the center's programs are built around providing developmental support and individualized assistance to empower every student within the Grand Junction community.
