Rowland Hall Middle School

Rowland Hall Middle School provides dedicated learning support for grades 6-8 at its Salt Lake City campus. The division features specialized staff, including a learning specialist and a learning support teacher, who facilitate small-group sessions and one-on-one check-ins. Their work focuses on coaching students and families through executive functioning routines and assisting parents with the educational evaluation process.

The school utilizes a highly inclusive model where support is not restricted to students with formal diagnoses. In place of traditional IEPs or 504 plans, Rowland Hall implements customized support plans. Upon receipt of an outside evaluation, specialists, teachers, and families collaborate to create plans outlining student strengths, needs, and classroom accommodations. Seventh and eighth graders can participate in directed study classes for skill building, and students have access to a dedicated learning support room for focused work or mentorship.

Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year ranges from $37,200 to $38,450, including technology and class trip fees. Need-based assistance and scholarships are available to approximately 25% of students. Starting December 2, 2026, the division will transition to the new Richard R. Steiner Campus.
