Skyline Academy

Operated by WellPower at the Dahlia Campus, Skyline Academy is an intensive day treatment facility in Denver, CO, serving students in grades 1 through 8. The program supports young people facing challenges in traditional public schools due to trauma, emotional regulation, behavioral needs, peer relationship difficulties, or identified educational disabilities. The academy focuses on providing students and families with essential tools for success in and outside the classroom.

Utilizing research-based treatment models, the academy prioritizes character development, social skills, and functional emotional expression within a safe environment. To ensure high-level support, classrooms are limited to a maximum of eight students and include at least one mental health support staff member present all day. Integrated therapeutic services include weekly individual and family therapy, daily social-emotional education, occupational and speech-language therapy, and animal-assisted interventions.

Skyline Academy partners with families and local school districts to collaborate on Individual Education Plans (IEPs), academic records, and progress monitoring, aiming to transition students back to their home districts. Enrollment requires referral via a school district's special education team, a Department of Human Services case worker, or a mental health provider.
