The Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL) is a collaborative educational system serving students with physical, emotional, and various learning challenges. By partnering with 31 local school districts, SEDOL ensures that specialized support is integrated into the broader educational landscape, providing a bridge to essential services for children across the region.

SEDOL offers a robust array of evidence-based therapies and specialized instructional programs. This includes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for behavioral support, the Orton-Gillingham approach for language-based learning disabilities, and comprehensive speech and language therapy.
