Spectrum School has served the Rockford area since 1967 as a progressive alternative school specifically designed for students who learn differently. The school specializes in supporting students with dyslexia, sensory processing differences, ADD/ADHD, and other learning differences through personalized, action-oriented instruction tailored to each child's unique learning style and strengths.

Beyond academics, students participate in enrichment activities including coding, arts and music programs, language clubs, and maker spaces that build confidence and engagement.
