Summit View West School

Summit View West School is a special education school serving students in grades 3–12 with learning differences. The school provides comprehensive, research-based instruction tailored to each student's unique learning profile through individualized instructional plans. With small class sizes and a high teacher-to-student ratio (108 students, 14 classroom teachers), Summit View creates an environment where students receive the personalized attention and support needed to thrive academically and socially.

Instruction at Summit View West emphasizes multisensory, hands-on, interactive learning across language arts, reading, mathematics, and perceptual and motor skills. In elementary grades, students build foundational academic skills; in middle school, the focus expands to organization, time management, and critical thinking; and in high school, students integrate and apply their knowledge to prepare for post-secondary education and independent living. The school's integrated curriculum and stimulating learning environment enable students to experience academic success and work toward their fullest potential.
