Tara Hall School

Tara Hall School is a residential special education program in Georgetown, SC designed for boys ages 6–12 who need intensive support in a structured home and school environment. The school serves families within 100 miles of campus, with priority given to students from the Grand Strand, Lowcountry, and Pee Dee regions. With only 5 students and 3 classroom teachers, Tara Hall provides highly individualized attention to meet each boy's academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.

The program combines on-campus residential living with dedicated classroom instruction, creating a therapeutic environment where boys receive consistent support both day and night. This integrated approach allows staff to address the physical, emotional, and educational needs of students within a stable home setting. The school typically requests a minimum two-year enrollment to allow adequate time for meaningful progress and skill development.

Tara Hall also offers a Family Services program to help families prepare for their son's eventual transition home, ensuring that progress made at school carries forward into the family setting.
