The Center For Discovery

The Center for Discovery provides comprehensive special education programs for children and young adults ages 3 to 21 with significant disabilities. The school specializes in supporting students diagnosed with autism, pervasive developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, neurological impairments, and various low-incidence syndromes. The program is designed to meet the needs of students with mild to severe cognitive delays, as well as those with significant language and social impairments.

A key feature of The Center for Discovery is its integrated Article 28 Clinic, which provides essential on-site medical, physical, and psychological support. This includes access to primary medicine, dental, neurology, psychology, monthly psychiatry, and podiatry. The program is equipped to support both ambulatory and non-ambulatory students, ensuring a high level of care for all physical needs.

The school offers diverse learning environments, including community-based preschool for ages 3-5, as well as community-based and residentially based programs for school-age children up to age 21. Additionally, their Adult Services Program supports individuals aged 21 to 90, focusing on maximizing potential through integrated healthcare and dedicated staff. The center is nonsectarian and operates with a rolling admissions process.
