The Eden School (Eden Autism Services)

The Eden School (Eden Autism Services) provides specialized, year-round educational services for children and adolescents with autism, serving ages 3 to 21. As a New Jersey Department of Education approved private school, Eden leverages decades of clinical experience to create a highly supportive learning environment tailored to the unique developmental needs of each student.

The school focuses on intensive, individualized support, with student-teacher ratios ranging from 1:1 to 3:1 depending on specific needs. Every student follows a personalized Individualized Education Program (IEP) based on annual assessments. To facilitate both academic progress and social growth, instruction is delivered through these low ratios as well as small group settings designed to encourage meaningful peer interaction.

Each classroom is supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including certified special education teachers, teaching assistants, and ancillary staff. Students have access to essential therapeutic services such as speech pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adaptive physical education, and counseling. The school works in close cooperation with parents and district child study teams to review IEPs annually, ensuring progress is aligned with each student's age and skill level.
