The Lighthouse Voc-Ed Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Eastern Connecticut and Southern Rhode Island. The Learning Campus provides a state-approved private school for K-12 students, along with after-school programs and specialized education. For older students and adults, the Community Campus provides adult day services and vocational training, while the Life Campus emphasizes transition services, life coaching, and social groups. The LH Works initiative specifically supports post-high school graduates and transition-age students by providing social and vocational experiences to create pathways toward employment and independent living.

With over 32 years of experience, The Lighthouse provides essential supports including Assistive Technology Services to enhance communication and learning. The organization also offers residential and transitional services, including housing opportunities designed to promote semi-supportive and independent living for individuals with Autism.
