Twindly Bridge Charter School

Twindly Bridge Charter School is a K-12 program in Wasilla, AK, supporting homeschooling families within the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District. Parents and certified teacher advisors collaborate to manage each student's education via an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP). Students may learn entirely from home or use the school building for supplemental instruction and hands-on learning.

On-site enrichment includes science labs (biology, chemistry, physics), art, pottery, robotics, music, and physical education. For students with special needs, a K-12 certified special education teacher and advisor lead coordinated support driven by an IEP developed through evaluation and data to meet unique developmental and academic requirements.

Integrated services include teletherapy for speech and language delivered in the home by a district-contracted pathologist, with funds available for assistive equipment. Students can also access occupational therapy, physical therapy, adapted PE, and counseling through their neighborhood school. Additional supports include Individual Reading Improvement Plans for literacy and opportunities for Special Olympics participation.
