Undercroft Montessori School

Undercroft Montessori School is a Montessori school serving Pre-K through 8th grade in Tulsa, OK, founded in 1964. The school actively supports students with learning differences through its Learning Difference Programs, recognizing that children of all abilities benefit from the Montessori approach. With an average class size of 22 students and specially-trained staff, Undercroft creates an environment where learners can progress at their own pace across Practical Life, Sensorial Development, Language, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Music, Creative Arts, and Physical Fitness.

The Montessori methodology is particularly well-suited for students with learning disabilities and processing differences. By emphasizing hands-on, multi-sensory learning and self-directed exploration, students build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills in a low-pressure setting. Undercroft enrolls 234 students across 21 classrooms with a student-teacher ratio that supports individualized attention.
